If anyone has an old 512Mb SD card lying around I'd like to buy . I could even swap with a 4gb SD card if you like.
I have a laser device that only seems to recognise 512Mb cards .
Not sure why, even a 4gb card formatted as 512mb doesn't work.

freitasm: Good. Sorry, got home last night after midnight (attending the ANZIA Gala. If you get one cool, if not then let me know.
It'll be the BUS.. SDSC(v1) vs SDHC(v2) compatibility that stops it reading even higher capacity SDHC :)
SD version 1.00 assumed 512 bytes per block. This permitted SDSC cards up to 4,096 × 512 × 512 = 1 GB, for which there are no known incompatibilities
