Was summoned to the Auntie's house for some tech support last night, and their 6yr old desktop isn't working, after first showing lots of display artefacts on the BIOS screen.

I've deduced that the graphics card is probably shot, it's currently an ATI 9600(?) 256MB AGP card, so looking for another one like that.  64MB memory is probably fine just for light browsing and Office.

Anybody have an old one lying abuot in exchange for a beer token?

Can pick up in Auckland CBD/North Shore or will pay for postage..

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.
