Canon, weirdly enough, still offer some support for this printer (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/bjc_series/bjc_50#Overview). Even weirder is that Amazon is still selling it: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-BJC-50-Color-Bubble-Printer/dp/B00000JH71/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I got this printer in 2000. It was last used two years ago and worked just fine. It's noisier than newer printers and doesn't feed multiple sheets through but I found it great for taking on the road. I can't swear to the condition of the battery since I haven't used it in so long.
Pick up in Palmerston North or arrange your own shipping.
It's a great little printer and I'd love it to find a good home.
Price - whatever you think is a fair thing.
