Hey,

Just wondering if anyone wants to give me or sell me about 5m of Catenary wire?
- I just need it for pulling the odd piece of draw wire / pull thru wires and I cant seem to find a wholesaler that sells by the metre.

Location: Christchurch

Thanks.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

If you want to pull through a pipe, then all you need is a vacuum cleaner and light string and a tissue. Takes longer to setup than to pull through 20m of flexible corrugated pipe ;-).

I will have to remember that one for next time I run a cable in conduit :-)

I normally use the white flexible curtain wire for net curtains, cheap and flexible.

The guy who installed our burglar alarm used a bit of pen chain on a piece of sting ( can only go down )

John

Thanks, it more for dangling down inside a wall and then pulling thru cable down through the wall and out again. (duct and holes already in place).

After that use, it will be to just use as a 'extentsion to my arms' and pull thru lots of cable instead of threading them one at a time and having to crawl into a tight space and crawl out for each piece of cable. Catenary seems to be the 'bees knees' of draw wire !
