Hi I returned a NL purchase and was told my only option is a gift card, no refunds.

I guess if anyone is going to buy something from NL anyway would you mind using my gift card so that I can cash it?

value is in region of low 500s

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Oh John, you need to go higher than that... I'll give him $300.00 and a framed picture of you.

Just to save everyone time OP is looking to sell the $500+ gift card at a $10 discount off the face value. Form an orderly queue.

NL pricing generally isn't that hot so credit isn't that valuable..70-80% of the value would be more likely unless you find a person who wants to pick something up the next day etc.

Here's some successful TM sales for reference:

$297 sold $220 74c
$150 sold $120 80c
$220 sold $150 68c
$99 sold $80 80c

Then remove fees on top of the sale price and you lose another ~5c per

Meanwhile you are asking somewhere around 98c on the dollar if what's posted above is correct.
