Anyone interesting in swapping the dell laptop for a recent Chromebook?
I want to have a play around with one and you may have finished your "play around"
Dell E4300
CPU speed: 2.4 GHz Cores: 2 Memory: 4 GB Hard drive: 150 MB Screen size: 13" CD / DVD: CD + DVD writer Great condition Dell Latitude E4300 Laptop.

I have installed and have running a test version of windows 8 that is running quite happily. There is a genuine version of Vista Business associated with laptop

P9400 Intel CPU

Chipset : Mobile Intel® GS45 Express Chipsets

Video Card : Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

Display : 13.3" Premium WXGA (1280 x 800) LED Display

You realise that you could probably happily (build and) install ChromiumOS on that very same hardware and essentially have yourself a Chromebook?  Or get one of a few pre-built images and boot into it from USB?
