Hi Team,

Just found an unused 4Gb IDE flash module...  the predecessor to today's SSDs that were commonly used in industrial computers.  This one was intended for a bowling lane scoring computer but was never required.  It is almost identical to the one in the image below (image sourced via google search)  - they key difference being it is a 4Gb module (not 8Gb as shown in the image).  If you have a use for it, it's yours for $5 incl shipping within NZ (or collect from Te Atatu area).

Just to confirm for the uninitiated, this plugs directly into the IDE port on a motherboard.  It's 3cm tall (in case you need it to fit under something).  Might be ideal for a linux firewall or similar.

Zero warranty including no DOA warranty.  The static bag is open, but the device is unused and comes with the power cable shown.

Cheers

Almost identical to this one

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Someone has put their hand up for this.  Feel free to express interest just in case the collection of the item falls through.
