Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Just import one from AU or US if he doesn't want to pay the NZ price I reckon

$401NZ (at the current exchange rate) plus Youshop (about $30-40) plus potential customs tax = about the same price :)

And can do everything the Nexus can do including run Cyanogenmod (stable) like a baus, taking calls like a baus and taking photos like a baus as well as having a user replaceable battery like a baus and the ability to add additional SD storage like a baus.

In otherwords, why not at this price go up to the S4? Better value for money :) Could even flash it with the Google Experience ROM for the real Nexus experience if he is that way inclined!

i think they planned to run stock. i discouraged them to buy an S4 as they live at the equator and i suggested the nexus 5 has a screen twice as bright as the s4 ...

Surprisingly my brother doesn't give a hoot about having the latest tech despite being a computer engineer grad. All he cares about is some Facebook virtual war game. Tried to get him to update his 5 year old Dell that overheats. He just buys a big fan to cool it.
