Yet again my MagSafe adapter for my 2010 MBP has died on me. With my previous MacBook I had to replace the adapter twice too, and I'm using this under normal circumstances, I'm gentle and pull from the plug not cable, don't bend or roughly use the cable, yet it has died on me again.

I'm only a High School student, so I can't afford to pay Apple $120 or the Trade Me sellers $80 for a charger, and I don't want to burden my parents by asking them to buy it for me, as they have more important things to buy.

If anyone has a new/good condition GENUINE 85W MagSafe (Not 2) adapter they'd be willing to sell for less than $80 that'd be great.

Bummer and I had one too and would have just given you it! Chucked it out when I moved house as I had no need for it. Good luck!

Ahh that's okay! I should've posted this earlier, it was on the way out, but thanks anyway.

If you're still looking I've got one you can have for $60.

Have a Retina MacBook Pro now so now have tons of these lying around.

Thanks to those who offered, my parents kindly loaned me $60 to buy one of Trade Me that's genuine and new.
