Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I was thinking about building a raid 0 boot drive at one stage but after a little research figured it is probably not worthwhile.

Here is my reference...

I believe I was the original seller of said server boxes (I could be wrong tho).

In which case, they are the very trusty Intel X25-E Enterprise SLC SSD
http://ark.intel.com/products/56595/Intel-SSD-X25-E-Series-32GB-2_5in-SATA-3Gbs-50nm-SLC
http://download.intel.com/design/flash/nand/extreme/extreme-sata-ssd-product-brief.pdf

50nm SLC NAND, with a whopping 100000 W/E cycles!
Compare that to your current 20nm classed MLC with 3000 or Samsung's TLC which is rated for even less (1000 is the unofficial figure).

They are zippy little drives, I actually run a pair in RAID-0 in a backup file server myself.

I just offloaded another one on here a couple of weeks ago, I *might* have a few more pending your usual decommission/scrubbing procedures but probably not till sometime next month.

Can send you a PM if you're still after some.

That would be the one sitting at my place :-)

These are great servers, and the SSD's are fantastic.

PM sent too!
