A 22yr old family friend is coming over for two months a secondment/internship at an engineering company in Takapuna at the end of May.  Apart from trademe, where are good places to look for people looking for short term flatmates?  I'll check out the ads in Countdown also..

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

You might try gumtree (but watch out for scammers) or how about couchsurfing.org? Some people on couchsurfing have a proper room they make available for visitors. If your friend was willing to pay they might put him up for 2 months

Or maybe airbnb.co.nz ?

There's one nice place at Airbnb in Northcote, thanks for the idea.
