Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

We will have a P4500 Virtualization SAN from HP/LeftHand up for grabs in a few months, potentially. 2 x 2U rack units with 12x 600GB SAS drives. How soon do you need it?

No idea, but given current prices for new/used, it will probably be somewhere around $6k.

Not sure how likely it is you will find a empty JBOD for 2TB SATAs 'lying around'.  The guys at Compucon can sell you a NAS or DAS enclosure though (PM me if you want an email address for someone there): http://www.compucon.co.nz/

Mikipro also has some NetApp SAN/NAS heads and disk trays up on trademe: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchString=netapp&rptpath=all&type=Search&searchType=all&generalSearch_keypresses=6&generalSearch_suggested=0
