Hi

I am looking for a Chromebook, any model really - preferably one with a SSD.
Tried to get the deal on Groupon US today but it wouldn't take my NZ card so thought I would see if anyone on here is looking to sell?

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

https://www.1-day.co.nz/onsale/pc0608/p/ has three options expiring at midday.

I bought a Samsung Exynos Chromebook from them in March.  It has the 11.6" screen, 16Gb SSD, and an ARM processor instead of a Celeron, and the thing is a little ripper.  Weight is 3/8ths of bugger all.  Battery is surprisingly good.  Kids use it for homework mostly but I'm really pleased with the purchase.

Now there's a coincidence.  My one has just popped up on today's deals.  https://www.1-day.co.nz/products/AFIDEN2QD

The Asus is NZD$150 on Groupon today so i'm not to keen to pay double that, thanks for the suggestion though.

Yes that was exactly my point, tried to buy it but it refuses NZ credit cards. Now i'm wondering if anyone on here has one they want to sell.

Cheers. That one is a ARM processor so it won't work as well dual booting Ubuntu which I plan to do.

Amazon have the Acer C720 for $179 USD.  It's a great machine.  I have a both the Samsung and the Acer.  The celeron based Acer seems considerably snappier.

Getting a bit OT but looking at Groupon US I saw this

http://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-asus-t100ta-transformer-book-10-point-1-inch-touchscreen-2-in-1-laptop-and-tablet

Now that is tempting but 32GB SSD is a bit small.

I would grab one (I do have a US credit card) but I already have a Surface Pro and I like the pen which this does not have.

But for $300 landed it's a bargain.
