Hey guys,

I just upgraded my Desktop Computer and am now looking at getting a bit of money back of the parts that are left.

We are looking at a Dell Studio XPS 435MT (Core i7-920 CPU, 6GB Tri-Channel 1066Mhz DDR3)

NOTE: This doesn't have a Power Supply as it had been replaced by a Corsair 500W that I took for my new build.
NOTE: Also, the original Graphics Card blew up at some point so got replaced by a Sapphire HD6670 (pretty decent for gaming)
NOTE: Doesn't come with a hard drive as I pinched it for my new build
NOTE: Doesn't come with an optical drive as I pinched that one as well.

Everything else should be what came with the Dell (incl Case, RAM, CPU, Heatsink, etc..)

Was still going strong but felt like I needed something a but more grunty for Photo Processing. (My 18 Megapixels - 10 layer photoshop files were starting to become a bit too much...)

Not really sure about price so I am open to offers if anyone is interested.

I haven't put that on TM yet.

Edit: Pickup from Birkdale, Auckland

Cheers,

Guillaume

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Any idea on a ballpark of what you're looking for? I'm also in Birkdale so this would be quite convenient.

Bump.

I will also be keeping the HD6670 for my new rig to do light gaming)

This means that what is for sale is:
- CPU (Core i7-920) + Heatsink
- RAM  (6GB Tri-Channel 1066Mhz DDR3)
- Motherboard (don't have the exact model)
- Case

All still in good working order.

And that's it.

Looking for $250 or any reasonable offer.

Cheers,

Guillaume

If you want it gone you probably need to drop the price a bit.

That CPU is fairly worthless now, A Low end i5 / decent i3 will out power it. Ram is $100 for 8GB of DDR3 new (Tri channel never really took off) an unknown (most likely heavily customized Dell motherboard) and assuming the same with the Dell case.

Fair point.

But I already said I was open to offers...

So just to clarify: Will consider any reasonable offers.. and yes $250 was maybe a bit optimistic ;-)
