Looking to sell my trusty Black iPad 2 now that I have the Air 2 in my hands.

Device is running IOS 8 and is 100% working order - 32Gb of storage and unlocked carrier 3G capability.

Pad has some cosmetic wear and tear through normal use - a couple of very light surface scratches on the screen visible on scrutiny only, a small ding in the metal cover on one corner and the usual light scuffs on the silber back - absolutely nothing that affects its usage or performance.

IMPORTANT NOTE - I bought this in Dubai when I was living there and due to this, the iPad does NOT have Facetime installed and is prevented from doing so at a firmware/serial level due to the local monopolistic Telcos throughout the Middle East forcing Apple to do this in order to sell there. I have heard tell of various jail-break related ways around this, but have not tested, so I would just assume it doesn't work and will never do so.

Of course you can happily install any other communications app from the store such as Skype, WhatsApp etc etc...

Would make a perfect tablet for the kids or one to keep in the batch or boat.

Looking for $275 - make me an offer!

Pics available on request to interested parties and happy to post Nationwide as needed.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

joker97: can you install whatsapp on ipads?

Quick search in the app store reveals not!

I had just assumed...

Skype certainly works.
