Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Wow, that seems like a great price considering the quality of these and the fact you can't buy them new any more.  GLWS; I didn't have any luck selling my 42 inch ST50 but I was secretly happy as it's now our bedroom tv ;-)

I do wonder sometimes. I don't people understand a great deal when they see it.

I guess one of the limiting factors is the (lack of) transportability of the TV - given you're in Dunedin, you're pool of potential purchasers is limited to this area only.

And then there's the wider (mis)understanding of plasma amongst the general population - old technology, power-wasting, dim screens, don't cope with glare, colours that don't 'pop'...So it's really only a small group that have a knowledge of and liking for plasma!

I have the 60ST50 (is that the right order? - the 60" version of yours) and absolutely love it - and would certainly like a larger screen (though my wife would fight it!), but live in PN so it's out of the question!

What did you replace this TV with? Given the relative lack of options to replace a decent plasma with it's always interesting...

I'm in Christchurch :-D

Replaced it with an Elite Screens CineGrey 5D 1.5gain 110" screen and a Sony VPL HW-50ES Projector.

It is a great deal on a nice TV but I could never just have a projector setup and no TV.

I use my PJ for movies etc. and my 60" plasma for everyday TV viewing.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

I couldn't either. Until I got this screen. Does everything a Black Diamond screen does, but for $900NZD rather tahn $4k.

If anyone happened to have a 55" similar model in Chch and wanted to upgrade size I would pay a good price for the 55".

It's a total "Hail Mary" type pass, but I have a 50" VT20 series Panasonic plasma in Chch. It's older but it was top of the line then and still awesome (no Freeview HD tuner though). I might be interested in a size to 65" is someone wanted my 50" Plasma :-)

http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/panasonic-tx-p50vt20b-tx-p50vt20-20100520694.htm

I could also borrow a van and we could do the upgrade circuit in one hit if it all works out - making sure to transport everything upright. (I still have the original box of course)

Cheers - N
