Hi all, as the topic states, has anyone got a 85W mag safe charger for a macbook pro? Would prefer genuine if possible.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Are you in Auckland? I might still have one - need to have a deep dive into the pile of chargers...

I am in Christchurch...

Also does anyone have a opinion on genuine magsafe chargers vs 3rd part ones, there is lots of stuff on the web but anyone got any personal experiences?

I had a 3rd party one, it buzzed, had a shorter cord and the magsafe connector felt cheap and nasty. I would only buy genuine from apple in the future. Too many on TM advertise as being the real thing that are not.

Buying genuine means paying more but you get what you pay for. 3rd party ones are cheap and nasty.
