As above, I need 4 screws to mount an SSD into the metal carrier for a Notebook. Where can I buy these? I think they are 2mm.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I think I have four spare if you're in Wellington. Otherwise any computer shop will have them, pbtech is easy.

Command adhesive strips also work well (and FYI are easily removed without trace, if you have not used them).

Happy to double check at home tonight for you, you're not far from me. I also use selotape, twist ties, anything really since they're light and not vibration sensitive.

If you mean those tiny, little black screws that often have blue colour (Loktite residue?) on them, I have a few that might suit.  I assume you mean 2mm in length? laughing

I'm pretty sure I have standard hard drive screws, I think use the same ones on my SSDs, mostly I use drive tray type things. I'm not 100% sure what you need tbh. I can always get an SSD out and try to screw something into them to see if they seem right...

Then I probably don't have any sorry. I will have a look this evening to check though, and I'll try them in my SSDs if I have any that look right.

Are you referring to Don Rickles, the comedian?

No Rickles above.

Anyway after actually turning my brain on this morning, I remembered we have a laptop graveyard downstairs, the first one I picked had guess what in a ziplock bag taped to the lid????

So sorted, thanks chaps for your offers of help.

Tony,  the screws I have aren't exactly 'countersunk' but very flat and thin heads ... also have similar silver screws that are even thinner ... used for holding 2.5inch drives in laptops..

I'm in Wellington so where are you ... I'm going into town later this afternoon.
