Hey guys,

I'm donating a laptop to a VSA (Volunteer Service Abroad) couple who are heading over to Vanuatu to help develop their coconut industry. It currently has an OK battery, but I'm missing its charger and only has 1gb of RAM. Also if anyone wants to donate an external hard drive or SSD that would be awesome! But I won't be holding my breath on that last one.

Does someone in the Christchurch reigon have any of the following they could part with;

  • 2x1gb or 2x2gb or 1x2gb DDR2 SODIMM Memory
  • An older HP/Compaq Charger (the thin barrel one) 30, 60 or 90W is fine
  • an old exernal hard drive
  • an SSD?

I can pick up today before the Cricket starts or after work during the week. Thanks heaps guys!

Hamish

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Thanks heaps for the offer, you're a legend! If someone from Christchurch can come up with one in the next day or so, I'll save you the hassle, so can I get back to you? I'll PM you if nothing comes up. :)

Thanks heaps,

Hamish

Yeah that's not a problem. If you do need it, Flick me a PM with your address and I'll get it on the post tomorow.
