Guys,

I would like to build a ADS-B antenna. My box of misc cables has let me down :-( ...

Does anyone have lying around a 2-3 meter TV or Sat cable, they are willing to part with for free?

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Screw-on F-type connectors from Dick Smith have not let me down yet, though I'm sure proper clamped connectors are in theory better..

DSE will be more expensive for the cable and connectors. Jaycar should have everything you need but will once again be a little inflated price wise. Try powerbase or another proper wholesaler.
