Hi Guys,

I am after a HP P410 or similair Raid Controller with either SATA ports direct on the card or SAS to SATA cable can be used.

Prefer BBWC also.

Let me know if anyone has anything similair!

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I have the mini-SAS to 4x SATA cable if you need one.  I pulled it from a new ML330 G6 several years ago and have never used it.  HP Part 599161-001 or 598657-001

The P222 / P221 cards were pretty reasonable if you can't locate a P410.

$10 shipped.

will keep in mind about the cable.

I am after any reasonable performing PCI-E controller really as any large disk activity at the moment causes the machine to become non-responsive until the disk activity is finished, also read/write speeds are very poor through ESXi 5.5.

Only requirements are PCI-E, SATA compatibility, reasonable speed and cheap.

I got my P410 from eBay ages ago, along with cable and BBWC/extended RAM module all at a great price. Since they are a couple of generations older, they should be quite reasonable now

Yeah I have been browsing ebay for a few different models. Did you have any problems with having the battery unit sent here?

FBWC is the improvement over BBWC, but the FBWC is likely to be notably more expensive.  The BBWC batteries only last 3-4 years.  Not sure about replacement pricing.

I didn't have any issues at all with the battery being sent

I've shipped from Ebay without any issues a year ago.
