Would anyone be interested in buying a Asus Transformer Pad TF700T tablet with lovely black leather case? I bought it a couple of years ago but it was one the least satisfying of all of my technology purchases. In fact I got so frustrated with its slowness and general laggy-ness, I decided to ditch Android and move to Apple. Never looked back ;-)

I have over time installed a number of different custom ROMs - mainly to see if I could get a snappier tablet. The latest ROM on it is CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.7. It is running Android Jelly Bean (4.2.1). Never really seemed to make that much difference to me however. I have posted a screenshot of all this information Click to see full size

I will ship it completely wiped although it will still have recovery software (TWRP 2.7.0.0) on it and the ROM zip file of the SD card.

It is rooted and unlocked -of course!

I have two USB charge cables - the original and an off-market one - but not the original USB charger itself (where do they go?). It does seem very slow to charge which makes me wonder if either cable is a bit flakey or maybe the connection on the unit itself. Please bear this in mind.

The case is a genuine black leather from Caseen designed specifically for the TF700. Cost me $80. That case was the best thing about the whole experience to be honest. A lovely case that really protects the tablet. You can see one here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtC6afnEBH0

Tablet itself is in excellent condition - no scratches, splits, etc

These seem to go for about $300 on eBay but I will take reasonably offers. As I say the case itself is worth $80.  Not sure about postage but I guess $7 would cover it.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

i personally blame asus for all the issues with them, i have one and went to CM10, with KK 4.4.4. was a bit better.

Asus released 1-2 firmware updates and then abandoned it with battery draining issues and slow responding core programs.
