Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

There's lots on TradeMe, they seem to hold their value damn well, damnit.
(Have been keeping on eye on them hoping to get a backup for my N6 cheap, hasn't happened so far)

Yep, there are quite a few on there. I am hoping to spend mid to low $300's for one. I have seen one on TM with a wireless charger for $350 which is my current contender for best value.
Should have just bought one instead of the Honor 6 a couple of months ago. Pure Google is the way to go with Android.

Not really on topic, sorry, but I was going to get rid of my Nexus 5 because it had abysmal battery life.  I ordered a new battery, installed it yesterday (which was surprisingly easy), and it now feels like a new phone again.  Unplugged it at 730am, its now 1255pm and still at 84%.  It estimates 27 hours left based on usage so far today.

Funny, I now have no desire to upgrade!

This is the cause of 90% of the "I upgraded my phone to the latest Firmware and now I don't get as much battery life"

Sure. Most people remember how good their phone was when they got it, and wow, a year later it's not as good.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!

Sold it this evening - less than that too, so buyer got a good deal.

You can buy a new one on trade for $375 or so.

I cant believe how well these are holding their value. I picked one up for $300 over two years ago and it was a bargain then. I then got a red one for my wife for $280 about six months ago (she promptly dropped it and smashed the screen !)

I used to want the latest and greatest of everything, but I love my N5 and I honestly don't see anything else I would rather have.

Where did you buy the battery from may I ask please?

Hi, I am going to scrap this plan for the moment. I think I am going to try being patient and hold out for the Nexus coming this year.

I thought I heard somewhere that the Nexus 6 was the last Nexus? I guess it was a rumour...

There are apparently a couple on their way in the coming months. One made by Huawei and one by LG.

The Nexus 5 is still superb value for money no doubt.

From trademt - this chap - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=3940148

Paid $33 odd.  Would have been cheaper on Amazon etc, but wanted it quickly.  Very impressed so far.

I have one that needs the screen replaced haha. If you're into that (it's an easy enough fix, I just botched it this time by being clumsy). PM me if you're keen on that.
