Looking for a APC console cable for resetting my APC PDU. Parts# 940-0144

one end is RJ12, the other end is DB9 serial. Quick ebay search: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=APC+940-0144&_sop=15

Flick Westcon an email, they'll have them or if your PDU is in a Vocus data center they'll typically have them lying around somewhere if you ask as they are heavy users of APC kit.

ive possibly got one sitting round here somewhere, i had a quick look and couldnt see it, so would need to have a better look and see if its there somewhere.

I had those in the past. Have been given a bunch of those from a friendly sysadmin and used DB-9 out of it for my projects.
There were nothing inside. It just a cable. Using crimping tool, DB-9 and a meter of LAN cable - you can do it in a few minutes.

tried to make one, actually few, but doens't work somehow with both of my apc ap7900, hence want to try the official one.
