Hi,

My old Dell R310 Xeon server is for sale.  Not dust, apart from some minor layering due to storage.

Specs are:

Intel Xeon 3470
4 x 2GB DDR3 RDIMMs (10600) (2 spare slots if populated with RDimms)
Perc 6i SAS controller
1 x Seagate Cheetah 15K 146GB drive (inc. caddy)
2 drive slot covers
dual redundant 400w PSU
iDRAC 6 Enterprise for remote management

Has one spare PCI-e x8 slot, or you could pick up a cheap SAS 6/ir module from ebay and remove the perc 6/I and have two slots.  I personally had these running with two DVBs-2 cards for my tvserver.  Will run great as either a small freenas server or general compute server.  Pulls around 60-70w of power.

Without the perc it is surprisingly quiet and ran in my cupboard fine, couldn't hear it.  Have the sata cables as well if you don't want the perc 6/I for raid but the SAS drive won't work so please advise if you want the SAS or SATA.

Looking for $200 or nearest offer.  Item will have to be collected from West Auckland unless you're really interested in me posting in which case I could probably get a price, but it won't be cheap!

Have additional 146GB SAS drives (same as above) for $30 each but no caddies for them.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.
