The ProCurve 3500yl-48G-PWR 48 port gigabit POE switch from HP with advanced layer 3 feature set and ability to add 4 x 10Gb uplinks.

The switch is in good used condition with minor cosmetic wear.

It is still receiving regular software updates. Major version K.16 was released on the 26th of Jan 2016 and is currently installed.

Rackmount ears, full rail kit (as new), and power cable included.

This is a great switch and is a reluctant sale.

This is listed on Trade Me but I'll do $600 inc shipping to anywhere in NZ for Geekzone members

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

That's very nice, I wants it. I'll have a think about how much over the next little while and hopefully it's still for sale!

Is the limited lifetime warranty transferrable? What is premium Edge?

networkn:

Is the limited lifetime warranty transferrable? What is premium Edge?

Premium Edge is:

  • OSPFv2
  • PIM Dense mode
  • PIM Sparse mode
  • VRRP
  • QinQ

hp only appear to check serial numbers...  so while there warranty statement states otherwise, I would say you would have no issues in obtaining warranty.
