Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

So.. I did a reset to clear the Pipo and now its stuck on a black screen with a white mouse pointer.

Thus ends this sale, unless I can get it working again.

One of the reasons why I have given up on this unit.  Thanks for reading.

Ok.. Dare I ask what you think its worth in it's current state? :)

It boots, can get to BIOS (danger! danger!)  and also can tell it to boot to UEFI shell.

It's the booting to Windows via Windows Boot Manager that appears to get it stuck with a black screen and white pointer.  Found forums online discussing something similar but their 'fixes' don't work (Ctrl then enter a password while typing blind etc).

I'll still give ya $30 and pick it up today if you want? Surely at some stage someone somewhere must have successfully loaded an OS onto it :)

PM me your address and a time if you're keen to be rid of the thing

Can you just boot a windows USB install stick on it? They was something weird about them only being a 32 bit UEFI or something I read.

They are ok machines, but the stupid antenna on the wifi is really annoying IMO. I have one for messing about with my arduinos and stuff since if I blow stuff up its no big deal.

No, have never been able to get it to boot from a USB.

There isn't even an option in the bios to choose USB. Only Windows boot manager (which doesn't show on screen) or some other command line boot (ehci?)

(I don't mess around in the Pipo bios since last time that bricked a unit completely).. ;-)

They will not boot legacy from USB, did you prepare the stick for UEFI booting? Ive only done that with 7, not sure if you need to mess about with 10 or they have finally sorted out their bootable downloads.
