You are right guys.. I dont want store credit.. Thats why on Geekzone.
It actually depends on the store manager - he can decide if he wants to give you cash or credit. If he doesn't you can go to head office and they can give you cash if you have good reason. I have been through this myself.

^ worth trying. Even if they won't give you cash, you might find it easier to sell a giftcard or something like itunes cards. Or perhaps something that's on a good limited time sale price ;-) Sorry, a bit OT but just a thought.

That is HARSH for a 8 day old product in FULL resalable condition.

yeah.. it was just 6 days old. No price changes,nothing..but its OK.. there are stores which refund without any question, Its all about who wants to maintain their customer base and who does not.
This particular NL store has the rudest staff. But this time the manager talked very politely, he was a new guy, so didn't really wanted to argue..
