EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 4GB

Bought in September (I think, I'll double check), so will have plenty of warranty time left and works great.  Selling to upgrade.

HDMI2.0 works fantastic and you can achieve 4:4:4 over HDMI at 4:60 for any of you 4K fans.

Looking for $500, pickup central Auckland.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Interested. But that's not much of a discount from new. Firm on the price?

I recently got a 6 month old 980 TI for $700 (64% of $1098 new), and 70% of new or equivalent is a fairly good benchmark for second hand computer parts, so I'd say $400 is the approximate value of a used 970 that is currently $573 new.

PB Tech quoted me $538 incl GST for a new EVGA GTX970 yesterday. I was tempted but too close until the 1070/1080

and given they come up on special for 10-15% off every now and then that takes the card down to $470-500 new

That's a very good price.

I'm trying to buy either a 970 or a 950 for an HTPC. But will probably wait for the announcements now.

Once they are announced they will drop even further in price, which is an excellent time to grab one. The new cards are not going to be some massive upgrade or anything, just ddr5x and around 20-30% on the higher end

Also yeah the price for this is probably $100 too high

Thanks for all the interest!

For price comparison sake, this GTX 970 is $573.85 on pricespy new

There are two GTX 970's on trademe, one is a year old with a reserve over $500, the other has a starting bid of $500 but is a stock, non OC variant - so what it seem to me is these GPU's hold their value.

This wonderful card we are looking at today folks is a EVGA 970 SSC, which is one of the fastest available with a great factory OC and cooler.

I had a chat to playtech this morning and they've told me that GPU's usually come around 1 month after announcement so if you want a 1070, there will be a wait.   I'm also guessing given our recent decline in currency they're going to be a lot more than $580ish new when they're released.

Although there is no way I would sell it for $400 or less I'm happy to let it go for $450  - any less and the additional money I'll need to pay to upgrade will be too significant.

Anyone who is keen at this price please PM

Always check completed sales, as that gives a true indication of market value. I can see a bunch on there selling for around $400-470ish dollars and factor in trademe fees it works out usually to around $400

$450 is probably a good deal on there

Many people feel dealing with TradeMe users can be somewhat of a hassle, so sell other places (e.g. GeekZone, GPForums, Facebook etc) for a lower price because it's less hassle. Also bear in mind that TradeMe values are always higher to account for fees. On a $500 sale fees alone would be $39.50, netting you $460.50, on a $450 sale it would be $35.55 netting you $414.45. (taken from http://www.trademe.co.nz/Help/FeeCalculator.aspx).

For your reference some sales in the last few months from GPForums: (Note you need to be an established GP member to access the links, hence details listed like this)
