When I am dismantling Plasma TVs - I keep flat flexi cables from inside. Anyone can put them for a good use? At some stage I will probably throw them away.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Are they like IDE cables?

Probably just copper weight.

I'm guessing they are copper tracks printed onto a flexible plastic backing, (naff all copper)

They are printed onto a flexible plastic backing. At a glance - some look like aluminium (doubtfull if they are copper).

I will be dumping piles of flexi's soon. And my business ties from overseas as well. I think only Real Estate agents and Lawyers are wearing ties in NZ. And I never met a Real Estate or a Lawyer being a Geek before :-)
