I'm looking for another three Philips Hue elements. Has anybody out there got some they are sick of?

I already have a bridge, but could be interested in a 2nd generation one.

Also interested in a Tap Switch...

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

No replies. Guess that means everyone loves them.

I've coughed up and bought three of the new Hues with the MKII bridge.

This means I now have a surplus to requirements MKI bridge. Anybody interested?

I also know a way to get Philips Hue lights in NZ at a bit of a discount (quite legally, from a local dealer with full warranty). Not keen to publicly post as they may shut it down if I do, but PM me if you want details.

Yeah I love my hue system - likewise would also like to have the V2 bridge at some point.  Of all the "geeky" things I've purchased the hue system has been the biggest success in the household.  We have tap switches everywhere and its great to walk out the house wack the tap switch near the door and every single light goes out using geolocation to turn the lights on if we are coming home after being out that kind of thing.

Seems like there are lots of Hue fans on GZ. I've had nine inquiries so far on discounted Hue stuff. Wish I could think of a way to make money out of it...

I must say that I've got a ton of Philips Led stuff, both Hue and dumb led bulbs, and I've yet to find any other brand which is as good. Great output (They seem to be rated rather conservatively) and, for the single colour temperature ones, nice colour.

Potentially interested in a v1 Bridge if anyone is selling - I have a Hue Lightstrip Plus but no bridge to control it with
(And going to use Z-wave dimmers for the rest of the house.. so it is with reluctance that I plug in another device 24/7 just to control one fixture..)

I have a Hue V.1 bridge...

I actually have two, one from my original purchase, one from a second hand purchase.

I haven't managed to get the new Hues (3 of them) to talk to the original 3 and the original hub.

I really need to get stuck into it, but as everything stopped talking to my Harmony Ultimate, I kinda gave up.

I'll keep you in mind if I get my system back up and running.

Does anyone still have an unwanted bridge - I'd offer $40 for it especially if in Christchurch for pickup

PWM freq is too low on them I find. There are other ones that do the same thing are much higher so not as visible. Also there are some RGBW options, but my controller doesnt support that so that strip is sitting doing nothing at the moment

I have a spare bridge and I'm in Christchurch. Out of town until the 4th of Sept though. Pm me and we can organise something.
