Edimax Power Line HP 5101acK - YouTube

http://www.edimax.com/edimax/merchandise/merchandise_detail/data/edimax/au/powerline_av500/hp-5102ack/

500Mbps Nano PowerLine Adapter Kit with Integrated Power Socket
• 500Mbps high speed ideal for HD video streaming
• Utilizes existing electrical wires to transmit network data
• Integrated power socket with noise filter
• Easy plug-n-play setup and 128 bit AES security
• Powerline transmission range up to 300 meters
• Backward compatible with 200Mbps powerline adapters
• Features energy saving mode to reduce power consumption

Transmit Network Data via Existing Electrical Wires
The Edimax HP-5102AC transforms the existing electrical wires in your home or office into a high-speed network. Complicated, disruptive and unsightly cabling is no longer necessary - if your home or office doesn’t have an existing Ethernet cable infrastructure, the HP-5102AC enables you to create a network environment easily and cost-effectively.

Integrated Power Socket with Noise Filter
With the Edimax HP-5102AC, no electrical outlet goes to waste. It is built with an integrated power socket, which you can use with any electrical device. So even when the HP-5102AC is plugged into a socket, you can still plug another electrical device into the HP-5102AC and have your usual socket capacity. The in-built noise filter also ensures that you do not experience a sudden drop of network speed when a high power consuming electrical device is being used.

500Mbps HomePlug AV Standard & IGMP Support
The Edimax HP-5102AC not only complies with the HomePlug AV standard but also supports IGMP managed multicast streams. The HP-5102AC can transmit network data over existing electrical wires at speeds of up to 500Mbps. It is also backward compatible with the 200Mbps HomePlug AV standard and has a transmission range of up to 300 meters. IGMP can be used for online gaming and video streaming applications, and allows for more efficient use of network resources. With the HP-5102AC, you can transfer high-definition video and digital audio quickly and easily.

Compatible with HomePlug 1.0 & 1.0 Turbo Devices
The HP-5102AC is designed to ensure efficient coexistence with HomePlug 1.0 and 1.0 Turbo devices, providing guaranteed QoS to all devices present in a heterogeneous powerline network. In such an architecture, the HP-5102AC and other HomePlug 1.0 stations share the CSMA/CA allocations, thus providing fair access to HomePlug 1.0 stations based on traffic priority.

Hardware Combo Group/Reset Button
The Edimax HP-5102AC has a combo group/reset button for simplified group and reset configurations. Press the group/reset button and the HP-5102AC will help you set up a password for your network automatically, or reset the device to factory defaults.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I am keen on these could I ask you to hold them for me until tomorrow (monday) lunchtime and I'll confirm.

If I read the specs properly it says these are 500Mbps Adapters, but only have a 100Mbps ethernet port. How can they operate at 500Mbps with a 100Mbps "input"?

I think the idea is that you could have multiples of these Powerline adapters and the max bandwidth for all of them operating simultaneously over the power copper is 500Mbps
