Time to clear out items that have been sitting in the "project to do" queue!

1 x HP ML350 G6 Tower Server with the following components installed:

2 x Dual redundant 750W power supplies

16 GB DDR3 RAM - 2 x 8GB DIMMs

1 x Intel® Xeon® Processor E5520 (8M Cache, 2.26 GHz, 5.86 GT/s Intel® QPI) CPU

1 x HP 439946-001 SC11Xe Ultra320 Single Channel/ PCIe x4 SCSI Host Bus Adapter - Runs the internal tape drive

1 x 512MB Battery Backed up Cache for onboard RAID (enables RAID 5 and with the battery backup allows much faster read/writes)

1 x 72GB 10K Hotplug SAS 2.5" drive

1 x 146GB 10K Hotplug SAS 2.5" drive

2 x 300GB 10 Hotplug SAS 2.5" drives

1 x HP Ultrium LTO 4 (Ultrium 1760) internal tape drive

The tapes are as follows, they are still all factory sealed:

3 x HP Ultrium 2 400GB tapes (C7972A)

4 x HP Ultrium 4 1.6TB tapes (C7974A)

These items are located in Hamilton.  I am happy to organise postage for the tapes, but the server is way to heavy to be worth sending very far.

As for price, i am opening it up to offers here first (since it would give a fellow geek a chance to get to play with some enterprise server tech) before putting it on Trademe or somewhere similar.

If i could get $400 for the server i would be happy!

Yeah $400 for the lot would be great, but can sell the tapes separately if need be.

If you are dumping I'll take it off your hands! Love to have it to expand my (meagre) IT skills.

I can pick up any day after Sunday in the evenings.

Would like to see it go to someone who would get some use out of it.  Basically the next offer that comes through will get it!

Thanks

That will teach me to have a relaxed weekend at the beach with no coverage. At least they are offering money.

Tapes/Drive/SCSI card are sold.

Server is sold, pending pickup arrangement.

For those who are watching, I also have a HP Blade server chassis and several blades that I want to get rid of as well.  I will put the details up on a separate listing once i get it out and document what I have.  PM me if you are interested and want advanced notice.
