A recent gratuitous upgrade means that I am now looking to sell my excellent Silver RX6's.

They were bought new a hair under 3 years ago from Turned on Audio in Onehunga. They sound great - full bodied, detailed but never harsh and make a great set of hifi speakers or as part of your home Cinema surround system.

They have been well looked after, never thrashed, are in great physical condition and work flawlessly. I have original manual, plinths, port bungs and proof of purchase etc.

I do also have the original packaging/boxes but unfortunately the corner of one has perished a bit in storage!

Looking for $875ono  - this would be a pick up only from West Auckland.

Check out some glowing reviews below and the manufacturers spec page:

I have a pair of Monitor Audio RS6's which are probably now 13+ years old, and I can tell you they are OUTSTANDING. They were once described by a very audio reviewer in the UK as the best speakers under 5K GBP which at the time was around 10-12K Kiwi.

I love mine, whomever gets these will be very fortunate.

Guessing these are quite a bit better than my Wharfedale Diamond 9.5's (5.1 system).

Matching center and sub would be a PITA / expensive. Planning on in walls for surrounds/backs for 7.1 system.

Yes, they are a tier or two up in quality for sure.

MA actually do a complete set of matching 5:1 in this range (and others) but building it would be fairly pricey...

Not really. 2nd hand audio gear takes an absolute dump in price after a few years

And its a buyer market if you have $800+ to spend on used speakers.

Good luck :-)

Just thought I would bump this one, Due to extreme laziness and procrastination I have yet to put these on TradeMe, so they are still available for the time being!
