Anyone want an Igloo box (you could potentially use it for a Sky discount)

Pick up only in Napier - make me an offer.

Cheers!
Warren.

I've got one of these too - picked up for $1 in garage sale. Can you reflash them as something useful?

If they have been plugged in they will have a software update to make them a freeview box.  The igloo service has closed down so you can't get the bonus channels anymore.

The unit I have for grabs is already flashed with the new software, so does work as a freeview box.  It's pretty underwhelming though as a freeview box - and I'm not sure if the live pause still works.  (Although a DishTV unit is much better if you want live pause / recording programmes).

It'll most likely be useful for someone who wants it as a case for a project, or a SkyTV discount.

:-)

Cheers!
