Hi, does anybody know where I could get a case similar to this to house a 1RU UPS which would also be suitable for travel?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'm wondering if this kind of material is better, or the polyethylene case from Rubber Monkey would be stronger?

I have used both types to send equipment back and forth between NZ and Australia and not had any problems or breakages.

Personal I prefer the polyethylene cases. They are usually lighter than the plywood / aluminium covered equivalent sized case.

Ah they're lighter. That'll be good since this will be used for travel. Thanks!

For many years (like 25) I've had a Live Sound Road Case in the shape of a briefcase...Its built like a brick s*** house and i reckon you could almost drive a truck over it but probably not ideally suited for travel. They would be worth checking out though if you are after quality.

Yeah since I will have to be carrying it around a lighter case would be better. But thanks for the link.

Yes, that came up also in my Google search, but wasn't so sure about them. But thanks.

Does anybody know what sort of tape can stick to the polyethylene case? Gaffer, electrical tape won't stick.
