I am after close to 2U decomissioned equipmet (server or ups whatever) and HP/Dell flat horizontal PCs. internals of no concern. Just cases and failed PSU (as I have to cut out the back to close the hole.

In Auckland.

Today finished turning one huge gaming PC case into 11 cm slim box. Too much work of cutting, drilling and riveting.

(I have nothing to offer) But do you keep any logs of your builds? I like to reduce reuse recycle and would love to have a gaming PC in a hidden rack (like this linustechtips video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGt9o0XUl5g )

Would be interested in seeing what you're achieving.

That guy is doing some cool things. I like transparent covers with the lights. But I am not building PCs.

I am re-using IT/PC cases to put inside some electronic devices of my own design (nothing to do with gaming).

Some pics of the cut down box would be cool. Just some inspiration of how you did it. I am wanting to make a slim mATX case (because all mATX cases are really fat for some reason) so it would be great to hear of your experiences.

One I am currently working on is not finished yet. Another one with transparent lid - working now in one of my Complex(es) - never made a photo.

One of the first ones made is 2013 can be seen after 8:33 in this video: Battery Testing Complex
