Hi - I'm hoping to buy an Android tablet to use as an external monitor (via an app) for shooting video with a DSLR. I think it'll need to be fairly recent for good performance. I've been using a Samsung Note 2 which works well as a monitor, but seems to have trouble with playback of the captured video - I'm hoping a faster processor may perform better.

Thanks.

Based in Wellington.

Cheers,
Mike

There is a bit of a dearth of decent Android tablets nowadays, as found in this thread, with few new models at a decent price and an up to date version of Android.

Possibly consider buying a Doogee Y6 Max phone from Aliexpress, has a 6.5" screen, 3GB ram and an up to date processor and Android version, with benefit of 4G cellular connection.
