I have an RFXCOM USB transceiver, some sensors and wall sockets I no longer have a use for. These integrate directly into openHAB with the RFXCOM binding which I have been doing for the last 2-3 years. I have migrated to some different sensors now so no longer need the RFXCOM stuff.

* 1 x RFXCOM USB Transceiver

* 2 x Oregon temperature sensors (one is temp only, the other is temp + humidity)

* 4 x UK HomeEasy wall sockets (all bar one with UK-NZ adaptors)

Would take $100 incl. shipping. The transceiver cost me 100EUR from memory so this is pretty reasonably priced I think.

I'm just at the start of home automation journey, so just doing some reding about what these bits do! Would you be able to explain what you used them to do?

I presume the RFXCOM bit can read the temp data, and then via openHAB control the sockets? What models are the temp sensors and do they need to be plugged in or are they battery powered? Sorry for the questions, thanks in advance.

Yep you pretty much have it sorted. The sensors report temp/humidity every minute or so, they are battery powered but I have found a decent set of AAs will last well over 12 months typically. The model nos are THN132N and THGR122NZ. They are nice compact, around 90mm x 60mm. The sockets can be switched by openHAB, they are basic on/off with no dimming or manual switch on the device. They are UK devices so require a UK-NZ adaptor on both sides of the socket. I have adaptors for all bar one side of one socket - so you would need UK (female) to NZ (male) adaptor to complete the set.

No interest in this stuff then? If not I will chuck on TradeMe. As a last effort to sell here I will drop price to $75. Any takers?

FYI - the transceiver will pickup messages from most common weather stations and quite a few 433MHz energy monitors. I had an Owl energy monitor which was picked up by the RFXCOM USB transceiver and therefore enabled me to get those energy readings into openHAB very easily. Same goes for weather stations with 433MHz.

Is it all 433MHz stuff? You will have problems with trademe and their obsession about NZ plugs on things if they are UK plugs too.
