I recently got a great 750ti GPU for my son from Nikras but the old QuadCore Xeon LGA771 (jn a 775 board) he runs can't keep up with his new found love for Overwatch. His birthday is not far away so looking at getting an older I5 or I7 2nd hand as an upgrade for him.

If anyone has anything unused but working .. with or without RAM or case or extras they can bear to part with let me know.

I am in Auckland and happy to collect or could cover shipping.

I did but they want $350 for a basic I5 system (usually DELL which can have power issues on the PCIe slot) and we already have SSD, HDD, Windows, Case etc and they are way over a birthday present budget laughing

For that kinda money I could give him my old I5-6400 and go Ryzen
