Not sure how ethical it is but in the past i needed a key i just got one from a PC at a library that had obliviously been not activated. Most likely on a volume licence. Got an unused pro key on my work pc in front of me currently.

Just recycling mate, Computer had windows 8 on it and came with a 7 key :)
Was a long while ago when i was at highschool, Wouldn't do that now given i have an income. 

Pretty sure I have one somewhere that you're welcome to try, give me 5 mins to track it down

That is gold right there, I picture somebody dressed in black seeking around the library and springing out and doing an action roll before writing down the key from on one of the computers. Love it.

Just sent the key again, hopefully it'll make it through this time.

No need to send me any cash as I moved to OSX a while ago for work reasons so the key isn't any use to me. Just pop a few bucks in a charity pot to keep the karma wheel turning :)

While i don't steal things from the library, i will buy broken laptops with COD stickers and use them. You can also do this and still upgrade to Windows 10 today.

By the way it was the school library.

I should also note i did "IT" work for the school , I was allowed to use old CD keys on desktops :) I'm not that much of a rebellious ninja! Much to my disappointment!
