Dunno if this still works, but when I was a student working in retail they use to pay out our extended warranty bonus's in MTA vouchers.. cool story huh? well I use to go into a petrol station and buy a $1 pack of gum, use the $50 voucher and they would give your change in cash.

This was roughly 10~ years ago though, but maybe worth a try? :)

Yeah, in most cases gas stations will pay out in cash for MTA vouchers. There doesn't seem to be a hard & fast rule, maybe it's solely related to how much cash is in the till?

I had $100 vouchers a year ago. Filled my scooter ($12 from empty to overflowing), took the balance in cash.

Megabyte - so geek it megahertz
