not sure if this is the correct forum section, or even correct site to ask this, but as geekzone seems to have the biggest selection of NZ computer usin people and gamers and I'm desperate to get my expensive paperweight un-paperweighted, I'm askin anyway, and putting it under bargains and deals cause someone gets to turn the paperweight they may have into a lil cash

but looking to buy a faulty(totally dead) GTX 1080 reference board card(would look into details of boards from non-reference so even if you have a non-reference I will still check if it has what I need, also aftermarket cooler doesn't mean its a non-reference board, mine has a third party cooler and a reference board)

possibly a 1070 or 1060 as well as some of them have similar circuits in areas of the boards

I've got a previously working 1080 that had a cable connector get caught in its fan and shatter a few of the fins, and then got a bad drop off the table on removing it to inpect the damage, its lost a couple of small components(a bad day to say the least).

so I'm lookin for a dead as hell donor card to attempt a repair so if you have such a card, and want to make a lil money off that paperweight I could use a complete card to salvage some parts from

reply with some details of what you have and I'll get you some contact info

for any that have/reply, thank you so much appreciated you have no idea

You probably more likely need a 1080 or 1070. They have  GP104 GPU PCB.

The 1060 is a different PCB.

I had a friend with a 1080 founders with a broken blower fin and man it was VERY Loud. He ended up buying a water block for it.
