A couple of months ago I purchased an Apple iPad Pro, as well as the (in my opinion) necessary Apple Pencil (as a Student I use it daily for note taking and sketching). However, in my day to day use, I lost the charging protective cap the other day (it fell off due to the weak magnet holding it on the Pencil) and so now my pencil is exposed to the elements frown.

I contacted Apple Support who quoted me NZD$17.... which in my opinion is an extreme rip off for a small piece of Plastic that is there only to protect the pencil's charging Tip.

So my question for fellow GeekZoner's: Does anyone have a spare Apple Pencil Charging Cap that they would be willing to post to me for a small price (obviously less than the Rip off price Apple quoted me)?

Or does anyone know any store that sells Apple Pencil caps? Preferably for under the price of Apple's quoted price...

Any Replies appreciated

It's that a common problem/ complaint with it? If so you could ask them to escalate it. Having a separate cap isn't great design as they will always have a high probability of getting lost magnets are only so strong. Spare parts should also be reasonably priced imo
