Was using an Nexus 7 for Bluetooth music collection in our car. Dropped and died.

Looking for a 7" tablet with good internal storage or microsd slot and with good battery life.

In Auckland.

Any interest in an HP Stream 7?  (I think I have that model correct)

7" running Windows.  I never bothered upgrading it from Win8 to Win10 but would still be do-able.  It's had very little use, and comes in the HP protective flip case.

$80?  Location is just off Lincoln Road, west Auckland.

These guys have excellent warranty support, in my experience.

Thanks but will prefer to stay away from windows just for a basic media device.

Great little tablets, I got one from here a while back. Did the upgrade to Win10, ran ok, but bit sluggish, so recently did clean install - runs better but cant get it to auto-rotate etc as a tablet should now, think Im missing a driver or something. :)

I might be interested in the HP Stream if still available. Could you ship to Hastings?

More than happy to do so.  Not sure if I have the original box still, and won't have the original charger, but it is standard micro USB.

After cleaning the fingerprints off, the thing may be indistinguishable from new (including the case) as it was an off the cuff purchase that never found a use.

Deal. I would also be interested in more of your laptop drives if you still have some. PM me with prices including shipping. I still have your details from our last transaction if they haven't changed. Mine haven't.

@Hatch

I've got a first gen N7 if you're interested. Been using it to stream music in our kitchen but have recently upgraded. ME370TG which comes with 3G and 32GB. No idea on the battery life, it's sat in a genuine dock the whole time I've had it and that's available too if you want it.

I'll have a leather case sitting around somewhere as well !

I'm in Wellington but am happy to ship.

What would you be after? I had the same exact unit as you sans dock. It was too sluggish on Lollipop so I had to roll back to Kitkat, root and disable updates. Much smoother on Kitkat.

If it is sat in its dock its whole life probably wouldn't have been through many battery cycles.

The Amazon fire 7 refurbished units seem pretty good but the 8gb is a concern. Android adaptive storage has always been hit and miss.

If @Hatch doesn't take the Nexus 7 I might be interested, although was ideally looking for the newer version. But @Hatch has first call, it being his thread :-)
