Just picked up one of the Obi-Wan Star Wars Force FX Lightsabres from The Warehouse. I'm not sure if this is the case for all stores but the Eastgate branch in Christchurch has them on clearance for $119.97.

Here's a pretty detailed YouTube review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs3PAVH3LGg

They're kept in a storeroom somewhere, generally they've always been kept off the shelves. Not a great sales tactic but I guess they're a bit pricey for people to be playing with in the aisles. At the Eastgate store there are A4 posters on the lockers behind the main checkouts. Plus there's one lightsabre on top of the cabinets where the posters are. I actually went straight to the checkouts and asked, and one of the staff went and got an unopened one from the back room. Most stores still have these in stock though I still haven't found out if other stores have them at the same clearance price (though they all dropped to $179 down from the original $299 a few months ago). Good luck and... May the Force be with you! <groan> Smile

No, they only have Obi-Wan's and they never had any of the others.
