It's been a good 4 years but it's time for me to say good bye to my beloved Helix.

Cosmetic damage to the touchpad and corner by the touch pen, both fully functional.

Fan tends to make a bit of a noise now and then, I got used to it long ago, also apprently it's normal for these.

Looking for best offer via PM, will leave this up till Thursday night, best offer wins.

Pickup Auckland, will post at your cost.

See attached photos for specs and cosmetic damage.

Update: See attached for videos demonstraiting fan noise and Lenovo diagnostics.

So you're running a blind auction.

Do you have a reserve, or does the highest bidder win regardless?

I did not intend to make it dodgy or anything I just figured this was the best way to do it, you are welcome to throw offers on this thread.

Highest bidder wins, no reserve.

Hi, I am currently looking for a new laptop and Lenovo's are on of the brands I prefer.

Have you looked into getting the touchpad fixed?

Does the TrackPoint still work OK?

Where in NZ are you?

I will bid $100.

I didn't see a point really to get it fixed as it works 100%, the Trackpoint works perfectly also, it's just cosmetic damage.

I'm in Auckland.

Thank you for your bid.

I never found out sorry, this is the main product page, lots of documentation, bound to be in there somewhere:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/nz/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-helix-series-laptops/thinkpad-helix-type-3xxx/3698/36984vm

After a quick Google it seems it can not be upgraded: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X-Series-Tablet-and/Is-the-Helix-RAM-chip-replaceable-upgradable/td-p/1104635

Thanks for that. I had just trawled through your Lenovo link to find the maximum was 8GB, no mention of soldered though. Counts me out thanks.

No worries.

Bidding will close at 8pm tonight.

Highest bidder wins, if the deal falls through the next in line will win and so on.
