Ducky One TKL Cherry Speed Silver Switch Mechanical Keyboard PBT Double Shot Black Keycaps/Case No LED Only about 3 months old, in perfect nick. Bought from PlayTech in AKL Selling only because I'm not using it enough for work, because ultimately the switches which feel excellent are too sensitive for the way I type! Perfect for gaming usage, but not the slightly idiosyncratic typing style I have which means I get too many accidental keystrokes. Not so good for maintaining that high wpm when most of my time is spent in Vim. Throwing in the Ducky leather wrist rest for free. ($50 value) Price: $80 + CourierPost (~$12) or pickup in Wellington CBD. PM me if you want them. (Bought for: $149)

Hi, I don't suppose you know how these compare to Blue or Brown switches?

Yep: They are like neither Blue nor Brown switches!

Closer to Browns, except the switch engages immediately instead of at the bottom of the keypress like with Browns. The problem with Browns for me is the 'thud' feeling at the end of the keypress feels weird to me, sorta kinetically dead at the end (absorb the downward impact, I feel like you have to almost consciously lift you finger up), whereas these Silver Speeds don't have that feeling at all, they are the lightest feeling of the switches and the fingers feel like they bounce back up naturally to type the next letter.

The keys are ultra-sensitive, these are the ideal switches for twitch gaming when you want instant response and the absolute minimum latency. I think they're the best for typing, I just don't touch-type perfectly, my fingers aren't always in exactly the correct place.
