I've been using a 6870 1gb for .. 6 (7?) years now and it struggles to play practically anything. 2 children means I can't afford the latest but just want something that can run crysis on full HD lol.

But trademe is a cesspool of over priced burnt out devices with no guarantee they haven't been burnt it from mining.

So what other (if any) market places are there for genuine second hand graphic cards?

Mods, sorry if wrong area!

This site, GPForums would be my picks. Ive picked up a couple off guys on GPForums and had no issues.

Crysis 2 ran perfectly fine on my system with a 6950 at full resolution. What CPU do you have ?

Definitely this site. I've picked up 2 within a few months of each other at a reasonable price.

Feel like I trust people on here than in Trademe etc.
Great site

I tend to try and sell/buy here first before going to Trademe, I trust the majority of people here and they're fairly clued up so no dumb buyers plus no fees etc.

I've actually got an AMD Radeon R9 270x 2Gb sitting here that I'm not using.  Came from my games machine before I upgraded last year to a GTX 1070... Happy to negotiate via PM if that interests you... was about to stick it on Trademe :-)

Thank you everyone. I love this community, I'll keep an eye on the Offers and Wanted hoping someone'll offload their old one after a new from Xmas and just avoid Trademe.

It was more a piss take, but I'm running on a mates old FX8350.

Thank you Benoire, I suspect you'll want more than the Wife's prepared to allow me to spend (she strangely doesn't see a new gfx card as necessary..) I'll pm you anyway.
