Hi guys,

Selling the following on behalf of a friend. Originally purchased 4 November 2017 from PB Tech but they simply aren't being used. As such they're both in as new condition.

Open to offers on either of them - not too sure what to price these at.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition (11G-P4-6393-KR) - $1,399

Acer Predator 27" 1440p 165Hz Monitor XB271HUA - $749

Both the monitor and the graphics card have 3 years warranty on them (November 2020). I have the original receipt and boxes for the new owner.

I'd be interested, but given the crazy market for graphics cards right now - I can't justify it.

In all honesty you'd be better off putting the graphics card on TradeMe.

The crypto-currency mining craze has pushed the prices of high-end cards like this out of the realm of normality (i.e. that card might well sell for more than your friend paid @ retail as they're difficult to get a hold of).

So yeah - throw it on TM - set auction to start @ retail price and see what the market will pay for it.

That's exactly the reason I didn't grab it at mates rates - can't justify the crazy prices in this current market.

Will see if anyone is interested here before they go on TM. He's quite negotiable on price if anyone is keen.

Are they interested in a graphics card swap plus cash difference?

I've got a GTX 1080 and I'd like to upgrade...

I guess Auckland is where you are? Can't tell as you didn't mentioned, and could only take a guess from your Speedtest location.

He's still got his old 970 so he's going back to that.

Ignore me, re-read it. It's the TN version.

Even if they're out of stock, the same one new is on sale at PlayTech is $765: https://www.playtech.co.nz/acer-predator-xb271hua-27-wqhd-g-sync-144hz-gaming-monitor.html?fee=24&fep=10687&utm_source=PriceSpy&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PriceSpy

Probably put that one lower, or try your luck with Trademe.

pricespy shows that yesterday it was $335 less, I would suggest starting your price for the monitor somewhere around that mark as other stores will drop to that price anytime. (or try your luck on trademe). The card should be good value based on the current price of them now.

I have a similar card and monitor, I can highly recommend both if anyone is thinking of going for it, playing games at anything other than ultra settings with high FPS > 100Hz seems totally terrible to me now...it has totally spoiled me in a good way.

forgot to add the link:

Yup, as @fizzychicken stated, you checked that 2 days too late. It was at the price I stated in the post.

Good luck!
